"Outdoor Equipment and Its Real Operation: Noise Annoyance and Noise Impact on the Environment"
CALM Workshop, Brussels, June 28, 2007

Objectives:

The workshop aimed at giving the OE industry sector and stakeholders the opportunity

• to get an overall view of the current situation of OE application used in the EU,
• to stimulate enhanced research in noise reduction technologies (including also other environmental impacts like CO₂ and exhaust emission),
• to identify and prioritize needs of common research and development topics (e.g. provide answers to open questions; supply missing data, missing information, or develop common tools) for reducing harmful effects of noise exposure and annoyance of OE application, in perspective of 2020.
