CALM Conference
"Research and Strategies for Less Noise in Europe"at MCE (Management Centre Europe), Brussels, Oct. 1 - 2, 2007
Noise is still a big burden to many people in Europe. In general, the CALM network and, in particular, this conference aims at increasing the public awareness of environmental noise and the related research.
The specific objectives of the conference areThe conference is addressed to all persons who are concerned with environmental noise in any kind such as political decision makers, local authorities, researchers and engineers from university and industry, public traffic operators and all other stakeholders.
- to present and discuss the current status and progress in environmental noise research,
- to provide the latest CALM strategy paper,
- to inform about the future planning of EU noise research.
