Good Practice Guide for Strategic Noise Mapping and the Production of Associated Data on Noise Exposure
Call for Comments (Deadline for input: Sep. 30, 2004)
In December 2003 the European Commission's Working Group on the Assessment of Exposure to Noise (WG-AEN) produced the first version of a Position Paper entitled "Good Practice Guide for Strategic Noise Mapping and the Production of Associated Data on Noise Exposure" (the Guide). This document can be downloaded from the Commission web site http://www.europa.eu.int/comm/environment/noise.
The purpose of the Guide is to assist member states (MS) and their competent authorities to undertake noise mapping and produce the associated data as required by a directive relating to the assessment and management of environmental noise.
With this, CALM Network calls for comments and asks interested parties to send these comments by September 30, 2003, at the latest.
